It's already a balmy 87 degrees in New York City today, with a heat advisory in effect until 6 p.m. But Blake Lively, who styles herself she will have you know (!), is a wearing velvet suit today.

And that's not all!

She has layered two (2!) velvet blazers on top of each other. And no top. It's quite a look.

Of course, the summer life of a celebrity is a life lived mostly in air conditioned spaces. And lots of 'em are wearing cozy warm clothes in the sweltering heat.
