'Blue Bloods' Just Released a Sneak Peek at the New Season and It Is Seriously Intense
Blue Bloods is making its season 10 debut in September.
The first sneak peek photos were released by CBS.
They show Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, and Will Estes already dealing with a lot of drama.
It feels like forever since we last saw the Reagan family. Blue Bloods left off with Eddie and Jamie’s (somewhat contentious) wedding, and we’ve been waiting months to see what happens next. Thankfully, CBS is now giving us some clues about what’s to come.
The network just released its first photos from the season 10 premiere, which airs on Friday, September 27. Though we’re used to Blue Bloods having some intense moments, the episode titled “The Real Deal” looks more action-packed than ever.
For one thing, someone is literally on fire. Actor Donnie Wahlberg, who plays Danny Reagan, already shared a video of this insane scene, but the set photos make it look even more intense. Seriously, what is happening here?!
Apparently, Danny and his partner Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez) are dealing with a year-old homicide investigation, which was brought up by medium Maggie. Yes, this is the same woman who hinted that the late Linda Reagan (Amy Carlson) was trying to contact Danny from the beyond. We’re not sure exactly what led to the explosive scene, but we can’t wait to find out.
Naturally, the other Reagans aren’t faring much better. Jamie (Will Estes) and Eddie (Vanessa Ray) are apartment hunting—which any couple knows is no easy feat—while Erin’s (Bridget Moynahan) dealing with a “cold-blooded” defense attorney. Eek.
Frank Reagan, the patriarch of the family played by Tom Selleck, is back, too, and trying to help his ex-partner whose daughter has been arrested. Basically, it’s all a big mess at their Brooklyn home, but hey, they’re still having family dinners so that’s a good sign!
Blue Bloods is always packed with surprises, so we’re looking forward to what this season has in store—which is hopefully a Linda reemergence.
