Bluefield Dance Theatre steals the show at the Lemonade Festival
BLUEFIELD, VA (WVNS) – One of the traditions of the Lemonade Festival in Bluefield is Bluefield Dance Theatre’s dancing performances.
The ladies representing the theatre are part of their competitive dance program and they sure danced the night away. They had some individual performances, as well as bigger group performances to a wide variety of songs.

While they were performing, Director and owner Nancy Lamb reminded attendees that their theatre just opened its fall term, and anyone can apply.
“I grew up dancing in Beckley, West Virginia. My husband and I, he danced with Jerry Rose and taught with Jerry Rose, and we ended up migrating to Bluefield and opening a studio. It has part of my life and he passed away. I am trying to carry on the tradition without him. It is hard, but I have great teachers,” said Lamb.
They have a wide variety of classes that they teach, including tap, ballet, jazz, and more. Classes are self-paced, and you can pick what you want to learn.
You can visit their website to apply to the dance studio while fall term registration is still open.
