Bob’s Watches to Showcase Pre-owned Rolexes at Fred Segal
Newport Beach, Calif-based Bob’s Watches has teamed with Fred Segal to bring its catalogue of pre-owned Rolex timepieces to the retailer’s e-commerce platform and stores in West Hollywood, Malibu, Studio City and Marin County, Calif.
“Selling watches at various venues caters to a diverse group of consumers and maximizes market reach,” said Carol Altieri, Bob’s Watches’ chief operating officer of Bob’s Watches, which also sells an assortment of brands such as Cartier, Omega, Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet.

The secondhand market used to be the place to go for bargains, and that still remains true for certain watch models, especially now with prices peaking in May 2022, and currently still on the decline, with the fourth quarter of 2023 having marked the seventh down quarter in a row, according to a report released by Morgan Stanley and WatchCharts in mid-January.
“The Bob’s Watches brand is committed to ensuring consumers can acquire a genuine factory Rolex without enduring waiting lists and/or navigating uncertain sellers,” Altieri added.
Some of the Rolex timepieces that watch enthusiasts and collectors will be able to explore and acquire exclusively at Fred Segal include the Air King in stainless steel from 1979, and from 2016, an Oyster perpetual bracelet, a Datejust stainless steel from 2005-06 with a repeating “Rolex” motif in a wave pattern and the highly sought after GMT-Master “Pepsi” and “Batman” models.
The horology assortment is available for purchase now both online and at the brick-and-mortar locations.
In addition, Bob’s has collaborated to bring a pre-owned assortment of Rolex’s to Gwyneth Paltrow’s lifestyle brand Goop; is partnering with Revolve at the first Aspen Revolve + Fwrd pop-up shop, and has expanded its presence to a new industry-first location in Las Vegas within the Dufry travel retail section in Terminal 3 in Harry Reid International Airport.
