‘Bombshell’ Dethrones ‘Vice’ for Best Makeup & Hairstyling at the Oscars

1 min read

Step aside, Vice. There’s a brand-new winner in town.

Tonight, Hollywood’s biggest stars gathered at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles for the 92nd annual Academy Awards. During the ceremony, Bombshell won the statuette for Best Makeup and Hairstyling.

The movie was up against a slew of worthy nominees, including Joker, Judy, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil and 1917.

The Academy Award for Best Makeup and Hairstyling has been around since the ’60s. Traditionally, the award is given to the cosmetologists—not the actors (natch).
