Bouncy house, brat fry and more — A Million Dreamz will host carnival fundraiser at 3 Sheeps Sunday
SHEBOYGAN – 3 Sheeps Brewing Company and A Million Dreamz will partner on a carnival fundraiser to support the child care center’s endeavors to offer 24/7 services.
The family friendly event will feature food, games, raffles, face painting, a bouncy house and a brat fry with the Miesfeld’s Meat Market brat truck. This is A Million Dreamz’s first fundraiser at 3 Sheeps.
“I'm really hoping for a big turnout,” said Angel Berry, executive director of A Million Dreamz. “It should be really fun. I would love to see lots of families come out and see us.”
In addition to hosting the fundraiser, A Million Dreamz was selected as the brewery’s nonprofit for July. A dollar will be donated to the child care center for each pint of 3 Sheeps Pilsner poured at the taproom this month.
A Million Dreamz is working to cover the remaining $600,000 of its initial $1 million capital campaign and paint three more classrooms. It’s seeking additional funds for staff education and flex-rate programs to help families with the cost of child care, Berry said.

Berry said A Million Dreamz also recently sold a property on the corner of 29th Street and Superior Avenue, which was the initial planned site for the center. It became tied up in litigation with a previous contractor and ended up being too small to serve more families and children in need of care.
Right now, A Million Dreamz can serve 140 kids a month, open from 5 a.m. to midnight seven days a week. It still has a waitlist of more than 300 kids.
Fundraiser will be at 3 Sheeps this Sunday
The carnival fundraiser will be at 3 Sheeps Brewing Co., 1837 North Ave, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 21.
