Brad Paisley Reveals the One Quality That Won Wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley Over
Brad Paisley may be a country music superstar, but it wasn’t his award-winning voice that initially piqued the interest of his wife, actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley. “The only reason I won her over, I think, was my sense of humor,” the “Last Time for Everything” singer, 44, told People in a new interview.
Now, after fourteen years of marriage, the crooner still gives his wife the giggles. “I can make her laugh really easily,” he told the mag, adding that Kimberly, 45, has been “a great barometer” as he’s branched into comedy. Paisley’s new Netflix special, Brad Paisley’s Comedy Rodeo, premieres this week. “She doesn’t let me get away with something that’s half funny,” he said.
The couple, who married in 2003 and share two sons, Huck, 10, and Jasper, 8, renewed their vows at a friend’s home back in 2015. “We did a really, really campy wedding vow renewal ceremony,” the Nashville actress told reporters after the ceremony. “We had a traditional wedding march… our processional walk. It was very casual and very campy and silly. It was perfect.”

The Father of the Bride star was gifted with a nontraditional, see-through gown. “You could see my pink panties underneath it,” she mused. “It was pretty awesome. One of my best friends went and bought it for me. It was a surprise… I didn’t know we were doing it.”
The lovebirds are sure to prioritize each other despite their busy schedules, regularly penciling in date nights in an effort to stay connected. “We have a lot of support,” the actress concluded. “My in-laws are close by in Tennessee and I’m so grateful to them. They really let us get out and about when we want to.”
