Bradley Cooper’s Daughter Joined Her Dad at a Red Carpet Event for the 1st Time Ever
Bradley Cooper’s daughter made a rare red carpet appearance last night at the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., and helped her dad cheer on his A Star Is Born co-star Dave Chappelle. (Chappelle was awarded the 22nd annual Mark Twain Prize for American Humor at the event.) This marks Cooper’s daughter Lea De Seine Shayk Cooper’s first official public outing with her dad (ya know, aside from private Disneyland trips and farmer’s market hauls).
The blonde-haired, blue-eyed little girl sported a star-spangled long-sleeve shirt underneath a blue all-weather vest, while her dad opted for a tuxedo. She appeared to sit quietly during the award presentation in Cooper’s lap.
Cooper and his former partner, Irina Shayk, have kept their daughter out of the spotlight for the most part since her birth, but perhaps we’ll be seeing more of her now that she’s made her official debut. Here’s everything we know about little Lea.

Who Is Her Mom?
Lea’s mom is Russian supermodel Irina Shayk (photographed above). Cooper and the now 33-year-old model started dating in 2015 and made their red carpet debut at Paris Fashion Week. In November 2016, Shayk announced her pregnancy and the couple welcomed Lea in spring of 2017. Although Shayk and Cooper separated in June of this year, after four years of dating, they continue to maintain a healthy relationship as they co-parent their daughter.
How Did Lea Get Her Name?
Shayk revealed during a Harper’s Bazaar interview that Lea’s name was inspired by her paternal grandmother, Galina. “My father’s mother was one of the strongest women in my life,” Shayk told the publication. “It was really inspiring to grow up in a women’s family because you learn so much from the strong women in your life.” Shayk even has Galina’s name tattooed on her. She went on to explain that the “De Seine” part of Lena’s name is an homage to the river in Paris.
