Neymar Jr. is a fiercely competitive player beloved by millions around the world. One fan in his native Brazil took his appreciation for the soccer star to a whole new level by leaving him everything in his will.

Local news outlet Metrópoles spoke to the unidentified man about his eyebrow-raising decision. He actually has tried to give his assets to Neymar before but ran into logistical problems. Using a will was his legal way to get everything he owns to the revered player.

"Even though I'm almost 31 years old, I'm not in very good health and, because of that, I really saw that I don't have anyone to leave my things to," he said honestly. "I'd hate to let the government or relatives I don’t get along with take my things."

His love for Neymar goes beyond appreciating his athleticism. He admitted that he resonates with his story and his personality. "I like Neymar. I identify with him a lot," he said. "I also deal with defamation, I am also very family-oriented, and his relationship with his father reminds me a lot of mine with my father, who has passed away. But mainly, I know that, above all, he's not greedy—something that's a little rare nowadays."

The document was submitted and notarized in the man's hometown of Porto Alegre. It outlines his current marital and familial status before declaring that it is "the manifest and final will of the testator" that all of his possessions "go to Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior."

Neymar, for his part, has yet to respond. But with an estimated $85 million in earnings this year, the Paris Saint-Germain forward should be just fine without the generous fan's donation.
