Break Up With Your Old Starbucks Order, Because the Cloud Macchiato Is Here
It looks like Starbucks - as the kids say - stans Ariana Grande just as much as we do, because the two have come together to welcome two brand-new drinks for spring. The Caramel Cloud Macchiato and Cinnamon Cloud Macchiato are available beginning on March 5.
Starbucks and Ariana have been posting mysterious cloud-themed posts on social media, and fans correctly guessed that there was a collaboration coming. The caramel drink consists of layers of fluffy foam (which contains egg), espresso, vanilla-flavored syrup, and a drizzle of caramel. The cinnamon beverage also has layers of that fluffy foam, espresso, cinnamon-flavored syrup, caramel drizzle, and cinnamon. Both are described as “light and airy” and can be ordered as hot or iced. The beverages are permanent menu items and are available throughout the United States and Canada.
But those aren’t the only drinks on the Starbucks menu in honor of spring. There is a trio of matcha drinks - Matcha Green Tea Latte, Iced Latte, and Crème Frappuccino - only available in the United States. The Cold Brew with Cascara Cold Foam sip from last year is back in stores, and it has a lightly sweet taste with vanilla syrup. And to satisfy your sweet treat craving, the Lemon Cake Pop is new this spring. It’s made of lemon-flavored cake and dipped in a yellow chocolatey coating and covered in sweet and sour topping. Now that’s how you bring sunshine into each day!
As if we weren’t already excited to set our clocks forward and embrace spring, we’re ready to sip our way into warmer weather.
