Brendon Urie Calls Scooter Braun a “Piece of Sh*t” in Live Video
Taylor Swift’s friend and collaborator Brendon Urie just called Scooter Braun a “piece of sh*t.”
Scooter was called out publicly by Taylor after acquiring her music in a $300 million deal.
In case you missed the entire internet being an absolute mess yesterday, celebrity talent manager Scooter Braun acquired Taylor Swift’s music catalog during a $300 million deal with Big Machine Records. And then she accused him of being a bully on...Tumblr (lol, classic), and then celebs started taking sides, and honestly, the whole thing became deeply awkward.
And now? Now Taylor Swift’s friend and “ME!” collaborator Brendon Urie is out here releasing videos slamming Scooter Braun on...Twitch (lol, classic x 2). In fact, Brendon went ahead and called Scooter a “piece of sh*t.”
“This f*cking Scooter Braun sh*t, like, what a piece of sh*t, right?” he said. “You guys know about this dude? It just, like, broke my heart. I read Taylor’s statement and I was like, ‘That sounds about right,’ ya know. Toxic dudes doing toxic bullsh*t in this toxic industry.”
Brendon went on to call Scooter a “f*cking asshole” and said, “I thought that was illegal to do a business turn behind the people who wrote the stuff. Like you can’t do it without their knowledge. There’s a certain amount of time, legally, that you have to let the people know....Like, there’s gotta be a precedent for that-not toxic masculinity. I stand with Taylor, of course: It’s a sh*tshow to learn how awful people can be...just for some profit...and maybe some clout.”
Brendon is one of many celebs to side with Taylor (other than Justin Bieber and Demi Lovato). For a full rundown, head right this way.
