This Bride Made The Cutest Disney-Themed Centerpieces For Her Wedding
Disney is known as the happiest place on earth, so it's no surprise many brides incorporate Disney details into one of the happiest days of their life. Ashley Idema, who married Ty Junemann in 2015, knocked those details out of the park with adorable Disney centerpieces, the cutest Up-themed cake, and other small Walt-approved touches throughout her wedding. What else do you do after getting engaged outside Sleeping Beauty's castle?
The wedding took place in Houston, TX, per their wedding photographer, Dawn Browne of Degrees North Images. Ashley made the centerpieces herself using Disney collectibles and other materials she spent time finding. Each one was meant to look like a different movie, with trinkets from Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella, including a Beauty and the Beast encased rose.
"The guests loved it, and spent part of their evening wandering around to each table," Dawn told Country Living. "It was definitely a great way to get the guests mingling!"
The cake was another memorable, Disney-fied moment. Made by Ashley's sister-in-law, the cake had handmade toppers meant to look like Carl and Ellie's chairs from Up. A tray of sparkly, tie-dyed cupcakes had a very Disney feel to them, too.
So cute!
