Bridesmaid shows her true feelings toward couple's PDA in hilarious photo
They say that a picture is worth 1,000 words, but in this case, a photo is probably worth only two: “Please, stop.”
A bridesmaid who goes by the name Elena on Twitter recently shared her “Please, stop” image, and it has drawn applause from people who also agree that public displays of affection make them feel real awkward.
I'm 26 years old, and even at a wedding other peoples' PDA elicits this response from me… pic.twitter.com/wrTRIj81x5

Look at the loving faces of the fellow bridesmaids — then look at our girl, Elena, who realizes that this is a perfect moment to ask, “Should we not save this for the bedroom?”
Elena is totally justified for giving such a face when you realize that the groom is her brother, Chris, and who would want to see that happen?
Despite the face that would suggest otherwise, Elena, a writer and social media manager from Wiltshire, England, is very happy for her brother and new sister-in-law, and the photo just represents a silly outburst.
“Chris and Lucy are a very loving and affectionate couple, but they’re not that prone to kissing a lot in public, and I am an awkward turtle who feels the need to be a tiny bit silly at most opportunities,” she told Metro. “When the photographer told the bride and groom to kiss, I just pulled a daft, spontaneous ‘ew’ face, not realizing she’d started taking photos already.”
A couple of notes: 1. The groom is my brother. 2. I smiled nicely like a civilised human in all of the other photos. I’m not a monster.

Elena admits that she quickly started to smile like a proper bridesmaid after her quick “ew” face. “When I saw the photo I was mildly embarrassed, but the bride and groom thought it was a bit funny,” she said. “It was a moment of silliness rather than some kind of protest; I wasn’t trying to be subversive or ruin anything!”
