Brittany Daniel is getting honest about her journey to motherhood. The Cheaper by the Dozen star, 45, recently shared new details about her long fertility process on Instagram.

At the beginning, Brittany was told she might not be able to conceive after a battle with stage IV non-Hodgkins lymphoma almost ten years ago, per Us Weekly. So, Brittany and her 41-year-old husband Adam Touni turned to surrogacy.

"We are over the moon at the thought of being parents," Brittany told People back in August. "This has been a long time coming and we are very much looking forward to holding our baby in our arms."

Then, in October, the happy couple announced the birth of their daughter, Hope Rose Touni, on Instagram. "Our hearts are bursting with joy. It’s been a long road to get here but we always remained hopeful that we would one day become parents," Brittany captioned the snap.

"Thank you to our surrogate who carried our baby so beautifully. Hope, we love witnessing who you are, just as you are. We love you!" she added.

Since then, Brittany has shared that she also found an egg donor along the way—her twin sister, Cynthia. "My sister @cynhauser helped make my dream come true of becoming a mom," she wrote on Instagram. "My husband @adam.touni and I couldn’t be more grateful to you sis. You’re and [sic] angel."

Cynthia also revealed the news to her followers in November: "My sissy@iambdaniel is a mommy!" she wrote. "The most magical moment of her life. Hope Rose Touni is the luckiest baby to have Britt and @adam.touni as her parents. Every moment will be intentional baby girl. We love you so much. ??."

And, new aunt Cynthia posted her own sweet tribute on IG in December. "One of the brightest moments of my life. Meeting my niece for the first time last week took my breath away. We love you Hope Rose Touni!??," she wrote.

The sisters' followers were just as thrilled. One user wrote, "????this is so amazing??," while another comment read, "Oh this is the best story I've seen in exactly forever! ??."
