Brooke Shields Admits Tom Cruise Cut Her Off From Holiday Cake List
The actress no longer receives one of Cruise's coveted coconut cakes at Christmastime—and she doesn't know why.
Brooke Shields isn't sure what she did to end up on Tom Cruise's naughty list, but her days of receiving the actor's famous Christmas cake are long over.
The 57-year-old actress recently revealed that she was once a recipient of Cruise's coveted coconut Christmas cake, until one year the delicious confection stopped showing up at her doorstep.
"I was on the list for a while. I had a good 10-year run, and I got the coconut cake every year, which I was very happy [about]," she told PEOPLE in a new cover story interview published Tuesday, Apr. 4.
Cruise, 60, is known for sending out $126 bundt cakes from Doan's Bakery in Woodland Hills, Calif. to his famous Hollywood pals—though apparently, Shields stopped making the cut at some point.

The Endless Love star revealed that she used to receive the holiday dessert every year from Cruise, his then-wife Katie Holmes and their daughter Suri, until the two eventually split in 2012.
"It was from them and Suri, so it was the three of them, and then soon it was no Suri and no Katie and just Tom," Shields remembered. "Then it went from just Tom for a while, but not every holiday. And then the cake stopped."
Shields admitted that she isn't sure "what happened" to get her booted from the list, though the two movie stars previously had a public spat back in 2005 after the Top Gun star criticized Shields' decision to take antidepressants for postpartum depression following the birth of her first child, Rowan, now age 19.
At the time, Shields responded with an op-ed in The New York Times to defend her decision and share information on the condition many postpartum moms have to face, notably writing, "I'm going to take a wild guess and say that Mr. Cruise has never suffered from postpartum depression."
But since then, Shields and Cruise have been able to smooth things over, as the Blue Lagoon alum was later invited to the actor's wedding ceremony with Holmes in 2006.
"I was like 'Hell, yes, I [sic] going.' It was extraordinary," Shields recalled in the new interview. They also went on to host their kids' first birthday party together, as Shield's second daughter Grier, now 16, was born in the same hospital on the same day as Suri.
Now, Shields has every intention of getting her spot back for the upcoming holiday season. "I want to get back on that cake list. It's the best cake," she told the publication with a laugh, before imploring, "Tom, I need to be back on the cake list."

Aside from missing the dreamy coconut cake, Shields appears to be fully over the drama and is currently focusing on her recently released documentary Pretty Baby: Brooke Shields, which dropped on Hulu on Monday, Apr. 3.
