Brooke Shields goes makeup-free, shows off radiant skin while out in New York City

Brooke Shields took in the unusually warm fall day in New York City by going makeup-free.

The 53-year-old actress was out and about taking in the sunshine with a bare face and a beautiful smile. Despite her late-night broadcast on QVC the night before for her Brooke Shields Timeless fashion collection, the actress looked radiant as ever.

Shields embraced her healthy complexion dressed in comfortable athleisure and opted for matching laid-back tousled hair. The New Yorker hailed a taxi and flashed a smile as a friendly construction worker held the car door open for her.

The supermodel recently made a rare public appearance with her 12-year-old daughter, Grier Hammond Henchy, who bears a striking resemblance to Sheilds. Earlier this year, Shields told People that she credits both of her daughters for boosting her self-esteem. She told the magazine, “My daughters have especially helped me feel confident.” Adding that, despite being in front of the camera since the time she was 12 years old, motherhood was one aspect that made her feel most comfortable in her own skin.

“Over time, I was able to find confidence in myself through my work, my passions, my network of strong female role models and my journey through motherhood… I finally feel comfortable and proud of the all the hard work I’ve put into my body. I can say that I feel confident being in my own skin, showing my body and not hiding it,” she said.
