Actress and Sports Illustrated model Brooklyn Decker knows a thing or two about beauty both inside and out. She’s unapologetic when it comes to speaking out against the unfair standards held against women, and is super relatable on her social media, posting photos of herself struggling on the ground post-run. We’ve all been there!
Now the mother of two, who’s married to tennis star Andy Roddick, is dishing on one tried and true beauty secret she’s always got in her purse.
Talking with Us Weekly, Brooklyn revealed that she keeps Burt’s Bees Lip Balm by her side always.
“In my bag, I have this great lip balm by Burt’s Bees,” she says. “They sent it to me and it says, ‘Brooklyn’s Bees.’ So I felt really special. It’s cute.”
It’s no surprise that Brooklyn cherishes enriching and soothing beauty products, but we love that her go-to costs just under $5!
Made with real beeswax, the classic lip balm has been a favorite for chapped lips for decades. The special balm beeswax formula soothes and conditions dry puckers, and leaves a refreshing (but not overwhelming) taste of peppermint.
It’s a great lip primer too — just swipe on before applying your favorite lipstick, and no need to worry about chapping or dry bits throughout the day! You can wear it alone too, for just a hint of sheen.
The balm isn’t just a lifesaver for your lips, either. Apply some on your cuticles if they feel uncomfortably dry. Want your brows to stay in place but hate the feeling of gel? Rub some of the balm on your finger, and then apply on any wayward hairs. It’ll keep them in place without the crunch of gels.
