Peddler's Village July 4 weekend

Peddler's Village in Lahaska is holding their annual Red, White, and Blue BBQ Bash. The event will run for four days, beginning on July 4. The barbecue will feature "blueberry treats, live music, family activities, lawn games, pony rides, watermelon-eating contests, axe-throwing, mural painting, plenty of shopping, and indoor and outdoor restaurant dining." July 4th at Historic Washington Crossing

Washington Crossing Historic Park in Upper Makefield will hold Living History Day, on Thursday, July 4 to celebrate the history around Independence Day. According to the park's website, living historians will read from the Declaration of Independence, demonstrate crafts, and feature a military encampment. The event will run from noon to 4 p.m. and be catered by Harvest Pizza and Rita's Water Ice. Pre-registration is recommended and tickets will be sold at the event.

The park will also hold Colonial Field Day 2024 on July 6. Centered on spirited colonial competition, the event will feature 18th century games, such as cup and ball, Jacob's ladder, and hoop and stick. The winning family will receive membership to the Friends of Washington Crossing Park, the group responsible for tours and educational programming within the park. Styer Orchard to ring in July 4 in Middletown

Sesame Place has several festivities to celebrate July 4th in the lead up to a fireworks show at 9p.m. Guests can enjoy beating the heat with water attractions like Bert & Ernie’s Splashy Shores and The Count’s Splash Castle. For $25, guests at Dine with Elmo and Friends can enjoy July 4th themed desserts, beverages, and take photos with Elmo in his patriotic outfit. Additionally, for $35, guests can experience the Dine with Elmo and Friends benefits while also having special seating access for the fireworks show. Styer Orchard announced that after spending the winter planning the event, they will be hosting a July 4th celebration this year. On Thurs., July 4 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., attendees can expect a DJ, games, face painting, a parade, hayrides, and the Men of Harmony Choir. Chalfont/New Britain Township/New Britain July 4 parade is back

The annual Tri-Muncipal 4th of July parade will return this July 4. The parade kicks off at 9:30 a.m. at the Town Center in New Britain Borough and will follow a route to end at North Branch Park in Chalfont. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. All are welcome and those interested in participating in this year's parade are encouraged to fill out the Participant Registration Form on the township's website.

Doylestown celebrates an 'old-fashioned' July 4

South Pine Street's Fonthill Castle will hold its Old-Fashioned Fourth of July celebration this July 4 from noon to 4 p.m. Attendees can enjoy food, entertainment, games, and live music, featuring the Ring the Rafters Quartet, the Delaware Valley Saxophone Quartet, and Lolly Hopwood. Other activities include a children's decorated bike parade with the Philadelphia Wheelmen, wheelbarrow and sack races, tug-of-war, and food trucks. The Decorated Bicycle Parade will kick off the event at 12:30 p.m., as children bike their pre-decorated bikes down the historic site's tree-lined driveway. Tickets to the event can be bought online at fonthillcastle/tickets/july4th or at the door for cash only.

Quakertown

Quakertown's Community Day returns this July 4, featuring its annual car show and vendors to cater the event. Other attractions include games, firemen water battles, and bands. The car show awards will begin at 1 p.m. and will highlight Best of Show, Stock and Modified trophies. Additionally, there will be a 50/50 drawing and fireworks that begin at dusk. Southampton Days return

The 52nd Annual Southampton Days Country Fair will feature the Sam Costantini Annual 4th of July Parade as one of the many events spanning the five-day celebration. The July 4th parade will kick off with the baby parade at 9 a.m., followed by the main parade at 9:30 a.m. The fairgrounds will briefly close from noon to 6 p.m., before re-opening and featuring performances, rides, food, and a rendition of the National Anthem and God Bless America before fireworks at 9:30 p.m. Additionally, bus service will be available for fair-goers for transportation from shopping centers in the area.

Throughout the week, the fair will feature a talent show, designer bag bingo, a pie-eating contest, a dog show, and will open for rides every night from 6pm-10pm. For ticket purchases, parade registration, or additional details on the fair, visit southamptondays.com/.

Bensalem

TreeTrails Adventures is having a Happy 4th of July event at their location in Trevose. Guests are encouraged to dress in patriotic red, white and blue outfits as they climb and adventure through the trees. On July 4th, TreeTrails will be open from 9:00a.m to 10:00p.m. Tickets are available on their website and range in prices from $22 to $72. Fun in Falls ahead of July 4

The 10th annual Brews and Bites is set to kick off Independence Day weekend on June 29th at Pennsbury Manor. The sunset fundraiser will run from 4 p.m.- 8 p.m., featuring local beer tasting, food trucks, and live music. The 21+ event sells tickets for $40 for unlimited drink sampling and $20 tickets for unlimited water and soft drinks for designated drivers. Wawa Welcomes America, Philadelphia

Wawa Welcomes America, the official Fourth of July celebration for the City of Philadelphia ends this July 4. The event features a free concert from artists Kesha, NE-YO, DJ Diamond Kuts, and SNACKTIME, which will take place on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. The performance will be followed by a fireworks display over the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

The annual celebration also includes free museum days, block parties, Wawa Hoagie Day and more throughout the city, leading up to the holiday. The Rocky Movie night returns June 26 at 6 p.m. at the Art Museum steps. "Guests are encouraged to come early to experience the new Rocky Shop and enjoy food and drinks from local food trucks. Free snacks will also be available courtesy of Herr’s & Tastykake."

Northampton County July 4 concert
