Burger King Hits Back at Fall-Themed Drinks With Summery Menu Item
As people who love cinnamon-flavored and pumpkin spice beverages are well aware, fall 2024 is fast approaching—but Burger King has answered with a summery menu item.
Over the last few weeks, several chains that traditionally embrace the fall-themed drink trend have revealed their new seasonal menus, many of which were received by delighted customers. But not all fast food joints are quite ready to embrace the changing of the seasons. At least, not yet.
As Snackolator revealed on social media, Burger King announced that customers can now purchase a new summery drink in stores and through the Burger King app. The new Frozen Pink Lemonade was made available starting on Thursday, Aug. 29, according to the food blogger’s Instagram post.

Though it’s unclear exactly how long the new beverage will remain available, Snackolator noted that those who use Burger King’s app to make a purchase can get a small version of the drink for free through Sept. 11, as long as their purchase totals at least $1. An image of the Frozen Pink Lemonade showed the beverage poured inside a clear glass that identified it as the “frozen drink of the MTV Video Music Awards,” which will take place this year on Sept. 11.
Many Burger King fans seemed eager to try out the new beverage, and those who have already tested it were quick to share their opinions on the taste.
“Sounds good to me yummy,” one person commented as another agreed it sounded “So REFRESHING!”
“Yes I'm trying it!” one fan wrote.
“I tried it. I think it's my new favorite drink,” an Instagram user shared.
“It taste like and actual ICEE brand one!” another Instagram user reviewed, adding, “Very tangy but sweet definitely good for summer ??.”
But not everyone who had tasted the frozen drink shared their positivity.
“I had it but I didn’t like it that much,” one person revealed as another agreed, writing, “It’s not that good.”
Others poked fun at the fast food chain for releasing a summery drink at the end of the season.
“Is it too late for selling frozen pink lemonade?! ??,” one person commented.
“At the end of summer?! Lol,” another fan teased.
