For those of you up to date on your foodie holidays, you probably have it marked in big bold letters that National Donut Day is around the corner. Normally our mouths water each year for large sums of free, melt-in-your-mouth pieces of fried dough. And though we're still anxiously waiting for that carb-filled bliss, we're leaving extra room this year. Burger King just announced their first-ever Whopper Donut. Waahoo! And though its technically more burger than donut, it'll be coming in said shape for one day only.

On National Donut Day, a.k.a. Friday, June 1 the burger chain will be serving up signature burgers with their middles sliced out. Yes, really. But, don't worry - you won't be getting any less burger for your buck. The cut out or donut hole, will be made up for because each order comes with a free little slider. Score.

The only kicker is the the Whopper Donut will only be available at select restaurants across the country - so you may need to road-trip if you want in.

A spokesperson for the chain said the locations are: 128 Tremont Street in Boston, 1100 - 5th Street in Miami Beach, 1601 N. Hacienda Boulevard in Los Angeles, 327 West 42nd Street in New York City, and 2450 S 1900 W in Salt Lake City. How those locations got so lucky, we just donut know (sorry).
