Burque Summer Jam hosts guests for free
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Empire Event Center in southwest Albuquerque was capped in chrome and stuffed to the brim with all things lowrider for the Burque Summer Jam Car Show.
There was music, plenty of food options, and lots of vehicles, but the best part was the price. The event was free for visitors.
Organizers said it’s an experience everyone should get to have without the worry of cost.
“I don’t charge nobody; it’s a free event. I just want to give something back to the community. Everybody always got to pay tickets to see these high-end artists here. I got a New Mexico legend coming in, and everybody gets an opportunity to see him for free, so that’s what I’m trying to do,” said organizer DeAndre Elioaragon. He said he’s always looking for people to join his community for future shows.
