"I Did Something Bad" is probably the best track on Taylor Swift's new album Reputation. A blackhearted little gem with an intense backbeat, it's a standout on an album full of musical subtweets and savage "new Taylor" takedowns. Perfect soundtrack music for your morning commute; so dramatic, so intense. Only a fool would try to cut in front of you in the coffee line.

It's compulsively re-playable, which makes this new cover by Broadway legends Shoshana Bean and Cythnia Erivo so dangerous. RIP to literally every other song; it's all doing something bad all the time.

Leave it to two literal drama queens to turn this revenge anthem up to an eleven. Shoshana Queen and Queen-thia Erivo are serving such intense smolder and such effortless femme fatale vibes. I have to be resuscitated every 30 seconds. It's worth it.

Can this be the sequel to Wicked? Just these two, dressed in all-black like an omen, serving cheekbones for the gawds, sitting on stage for two hours being fabulously unrepentant?

Can this be every musical actually? A huge orchestra pit is wonderful but tbh, all I need in this life of sin is a simple, but intense accompaniment from Kiara Perico on viola and April Guthrie on cello and life-giving harmonies from these two literal legends. Add two manicures that look like they would gladly grip you up with a quickness and I'm all the way done.

Plus this!

I never knew that my idea of Heaven was being dispassionately snarled at for four minutes straight and yet here we are!
