Butterfinger Might Be Releasing Peanut Butter That Mimics the Candy Bar
Butterfinger, you better not be playing with our emotions, because now that you’ve put it out there that Crispety Crunchety Peanut Butter might become a thing, we won’t take no for an answer.
On Jan. 24, the Ferrero brand took to Instagram to post a picture of the Butterfinger-inspired peanut butter. It included the caption, “We just had the best idea for #NationalPeanutButterDay. Just kidding . . . Unless?” On the picture showcasing the mockup, it notes that it will be coming out “maybe sometime in the future.” Come on, Butterfinger, you can’t put this out in the universe and not do it.
A regular Butterfinger candy bar is described by a “Crispety, crunchety, peanut butter bar” that’s covered in chocolatey cocoa coating. So now we see where the name for the peanut butter came from. We’d imagine that the spread would have a crunchy element in it to match the candy.
Naturally, the comment section is flooded with people begging Butterfinger to bring the Crispety Crunchety Peanut Butter to life and how they’d buy it. With that kind of response, we can’t imagine the brand skipping out on this opportunity, so we’re going to send the positive vibes that it comes to fruition … and soon.
