You Can Buy A Piece Of The Eiffel Tower For $45K
'Tis certainly the holiday season and though the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales are headed our way, my best advice would be to reconsider where you spend your money. Why, you ask? Because on November 27th, you could be the potential owner of a home decor item that no one-literally no one-else in the world will have: a piece of the original spiral staircase on the Eiffel Tower.
Oui, c'est vrai! Artcurial, an international auction house based in Paris, will be accepting bids on a true piece of history. The spiral staircase, which measures over 4 meters tall-or about 13 feet-was the original structure found on the Tower in 1889.
Though the artifact will definitely sell fast, it'll cost you a pretty penny. I mean, if you can spend the estimated 40,000 to 60,000€ (AKA about $45,478.04 to $68,217.06) on a piece of the Eiffel Tower, you can probably afford to give in to those pre-holiday sales.
