Caldwell Memorial Hospital Foundation announces 2024 Patrons’ Gala

The theme of the Caldwell Memorial Hospital Foundation’s 2024 Patrons’ Gala has been announced, according to a press release from UNC Health Caldwell.

Attendees will spend a night under the sea with the theme Atlantis — An Evening in the Lost City. The co-chairs for this year’s gala are Kelly Lanier Icenhour, Gala Chair, and Kathleen Turner, Gala Co-Chair.

This year’s gala will raise funds for Caldwell Memorial Hospital’s current renovation project — The Capstone Campaign. This project will provide funding for a new cardiac catheterization laboratory, a new clinical lab, a renovated inpatient pharmacy and a new kitchen and cafeteria. The Caldwell Memorial Hospital Foundation has raised $3.5 million and UNC Health generously contributed $30 million to the $33.5 million project. Construction has started, and as expenses have increased, additional funding will be provided as available.

Atlantis — An Evening in the Lost City will be held Saturday, September 21st at Cedar Rock Country Club. The event will include hors d’oeuvres, dinner, drinks, a premier silent auction and dancing to a great local band, FracXured.

Tickets will go on sale mid-August. For information, please call the foundation at 828-757-5525. Caldwell Memorial Hospital Foundation is an integral partner in UNC Health Caldwell’s mission to provide compassionate, safe and effective care to the community.
