Camilla Parker Bowles Had *This* to Say About the Drama Leading Up to the Royal Wedding
It was the calm sunshine after the storm: After all the scuttlebutt surrounding Meghan Markle’s father leading up to her big day, Prince Harry and his royal bride-to-be’s wedding day at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle went off without a hitch.
According to Camilla Parker Bowles—and the rest of the royal family—that was a bit of a relief, apparently. Speaking with British news station 5 News earlier this week, Parker Bowles had this to say about the duo’s May 19 wedding: “It was such a lovely day. Just everything went right. We all wondered whatever would happen next and then everything went right. The only thing is that we are all losing our voices now.”
Could Prince Charles’s wife have been alluding to the “will he/won't he” rumors about whether or not Thomas Markle would join the festivities and ceremoniously walk his daughter Meghan down the aisle that plagued the final days before “I do”? It sure as heck seems like it and we’re kind of wondering if she was talking out of turn.
Cue the drama for your mama—or in this case, your mama-in-law, Queen Eliz.
