Camille Kostek Channels Farrah Fawcett for New Swimwear Photoshoot
Camille Kostek is taking swimsuit-style inspiration from one of the greats.
The 30-year-old, who is a successful model, television host, and actress, launched her own swimsuit collection in partnership with Swimsuits For All.
In a new promotional video for the collection that Kostek shared on her Instagram, the model transformed into a modern Farrah Fawcett. Kostek even cited the late model and actress as inspiration for the photoshoot and one of her suit designs: the Pammy ribbed one-piece.
One image Kostek recreated is the famous poster of Fawcett in a red one-piece bathing suit from 1976, right as Fawcett began her turn as the character Jill Munroe in the Charlie's Angels TV series.
The model captioned her video, "Goodmorning Charlie ?? Icon Farrah Fawcett was my inspiration for the design of this classic one piece for the CAMILLE COLLECTION with @swimsuitsforall...Channeling her in these pieces for the campaign are some of my favorite moments on set."
The iconic audio of "Good morning, Charlie," could be heard playing in the background of Kostek's clip.

Kostek also recreated another famous image of Fawcett, one where the model donned a white one-piece while seated on a bicycle.
In 2009, Vanity Fair shared outtakes of the photoshoot between Fawcett and photographer Bruce McBroom that produced these memorable pictures.
Speaking with Entertainment Weekly in 2019, McBroom told the story of how the photoshoot came to be.
In 1976, Fawcett had a deal with a poster company which resulted in her participation in two photoshoots with two different photographers; but according to McBroom, none of the photos turned out right.
McBroom told the publication that he received a call from the poster company saying that Fawcett requested him specifically for the reshoot.
The man on the phone told him, "Here’s the thing, it’s gotta be her great hair, she’s gotta be smiling, she’s gotta be in a bikini and they’ve gotta be drop-dead, sexy pictures.”
It was a very low-key photoshoot at Fawcett's home, and she did her own make-up and hair. When the model revealed she didn't have a bikini as requested, she put on the red swimsuit; and the rest is history.
Along with Fawcett, Kostek's collection takes inspiration from other celebrated women throughout history. The Sports Illustrated model showed off the collection by traveling through the decades of ever-changing swimsuit fashion–from the Marilyn Monroe-style of 1950s swimwear to the two-piece bikini we know and love today!
