'I can only imagine what poor Jimbo saw': Man who hired dog sitter finds men and lube in his house
Jimbo may have seen unspeakable things performed by the person hired as his dog sitter.
Klete Keller of Colorado Springs, Colo., booked a sitter on a popular dog-walking app, Wag! Though the service thoroughly vets sitters before they are allowed to walk and watch dogs, Keller was not too impressed with his female sitter after he found two shirtless men in his home, according to Fox 21.
Keller returned home around 1:00 a.m. on Monday to find two shirtless men with a bottle of lubricant on his couch.
“There was an open bottle of personal lubricant and a camcorder on the end table, so it’s pretty self-explanatory what was going on,” he told the news outlet.
The woman he had hired to watch his dog was showering in his bathroom. Keller found his dog locked inside a bedroom, where he was sitting in his own urine.
“It was just … a total mess, and I can only imagine what poor Jimbo saw in there,” he said.
The woman, who wished to remain unidentified, has a rating of 4.96 out of 5 on Wag! and has completed 305 dog walks and sittings. She told Fox 21: “To be completely honest, I didn’t have WD-40 and my keys were stuck in my car, so I ended up grabbing what I had in my car — for things that, you know, I do on my personal time — and I didn’t think to put it back in my car.
“I’d like to apologize to him for making him feel like I violated his house, because that wasn’t my intention. I misinterpreted information, and I had guests over when I shouldn’t have.”
Wag! released a statement to Fox 21 that read, “We have launched an investigation into this incident and have suspended the sitter from our platform. The circumstances around this incident are unacceptable, and we expect everyone on our platform to conduct themselves in a professional manner. We have worked closely with the dog’s owner to restore his trust in Wag! and appreciate his understanding. The trust and safety of the Wag! community is very important to us.”
