Canadian Dog Boarder Takes Pups to 'Tim Hortons' on a School Bus for the Ultimate Field Trip

Because dogs come in all shapes and sizes, dog care does, too. It's not hard to find pet sitters or doggie daycare centers whether you need it for a few hours or for a week. There are even some boarding companies that will pick up your pup for you!

Alberta-based Escape to the Country Kennels has short and long-term boarding options for dogs and cats, but their signature canine experience is their famous Pup Bus. Once on the school bus for dogs, the pups will embark on a special adventure together.

To celebrate National Dog Day, the Pup Bus staff took their riders to pick up a treat at a classic Canadian coffee chain: Tim Hortons. We're not sure who loved their August 25 outing the most--the people or the hungry pups!

This is the cutest thing! The Escape to the Country Kennel dogs were all so excited to go for a ride in the dog bus, and we can't say that we blame them. This outing looks like way more fun than any school bus experiences we had as kids!

We feel the same way as commenter @claudia.vee who wrote, "I want to be the bus driver! This is my idea of the perfect job." It would be so much fun! Don't get us wrong, though--it would also be a lot of responsibility to pick up, buckle in, and drop off people's beloved pets. Sometimes, the Pup Bus team even takes the entire pack for an off-leash hike or adventure outside of the bus. That takes a lot of work, obedience training, and attention, to say the least.

This time, though, the job was relatively easy--just feeding the dogs treats! They each got a delicious dog treat from the popular Canadian chain Tim Hortons, though let's be honest--they looked exactly like the Timbit donut holes people eat...

That's because they are! Tim Hortons offers plain, unglazed Timbits to dogs, but you'll have to ask or them specifically. Like viewer @michelepaulbeskie admitted, "I think the only ones in Canada that eat the plain Timbits are pups." LOL--that may be true, but it sure is the safest and healthiest dog treat option at Tim's. A treat every now and then never hurt anyone!
