Cancer Survivor's Loose Chin Skin Transformation

Following the birth of her child, Heather found out she had thyroid cancer. After surviving the terrifying diagnosis, surgery, and an 80-pound weight loss she is left with a constant reminder of her past health issues -- excessive loose skin under her chin and on her neck.

She meets with plastic surgeon Dr. Behrooz Torkian, who performs a facelift and loose skin removal. The transformed Heather joins the panel to reveal her amazing new look.
"I couldn't be happier. I'm unbelievably happy with the results," the hairdresser says. "All day I make other people look great and feel great about themselves and I avoid looking at myself in the mirror. And now when I look in the mirror, I like what I see."

Dr. Torkian says that for a facelift to look natural it has a great deal to do with the direction of the pull. He also says that in some cases fat and volume needs to be added back into a patient to help with dropping and sagging.
