Candace Cameron Bure Just Expertly Shut Down Her Instagram Trolls Once and for All
Earlier this month, Candace Cameron Bure clapped back on social media at those who criticized her Christmas card photo on Instagram.
In a new interview with E! News, the Fuller House star explained why it was important for her to speak out.
Candace has defended herself many times before, including when she was criticized for posting an "inappropriate" photo of herself and her husband, Valeri Bure, online.
Candace Cameron Bure has had it with Instagram trolls.
The Fuller House star first jumped into defense mode earlier this month after some of her fans wrote negative things about her family's appearance in their Christmas card photo.
"Wow — I post a family photo and you all find everything you don’t like about it or can make fun of. Do better than that. Please," Candace wrote to her fans in the comment section of the Instagram.

Additionally, she also penned a lengthy Facebook post pleading for kindness and decency. "It doesn’t matter if you’re 10 or 90 years old, rude is rude. Be better than that. I’m praying for humanity. Manners and respect. If you don’t like something, just move on," the 44-year-old actress explained in part. "There are people and real feelings behind every screen."
In particular, some trolled Candace about the layout of the photo and the facial expressions on her kids Natasha, Lev, and Maksim. One Instagram user wrote, "Fakest family ever! Who does this? Is it a catalog picture? And those dead looks on your kids' faces says it all," while another commented, "I love you but this pic is a #hotmess! Are you all photoshopped in? Y'all have like 3 different looks going including some of the kids look confused and terrified."
Weeks later, Candace still had more to say about the hateful commentary she received on the post.
"You know, people forget that — yes, I'm a celebrity — but I'm a real person," Candace told E!'s Daily Pop on January 25. "I was simply sharing a family Christmas card. And it's so strange to me that people have the audacity to write horrible and negative comments. Like, you would never say that to someone's face."
Upset with the criticism, Candace felt it was important to take a stand. "It was more about a reminder, like, I'm sharing the best of what I believe my family is on a Christmas card, so keep your mouth shut," Candace continued. "If you don't like it, just scroll on."
Candace is no stranger to standing up to her critics. Last fall, some of Candace's fans were quick to call an Instagram picture of her husband, Valeri Bure, touching her breast "inappropriate."

"For all the Christians that are questioning my post with my husband's hand on my boob—my husband of 24 years—thinking it was inappropriate, it makes me laugh because it's my husband," the actress clapped back in her Instagram Stories at the time. "We have so much fun together."
Then, just days ago, Candace drew fire from some of her followers upset about the accounts she follows on Twitter and Instagram. At the time, Candace did not specify which accounts people were angry about.
"A follow does not mean an endorsement," she explained in a recent Instagram Story. "A follow does not mean I agree with everything they say and do. It just means I follow a broad range of people so that I have perspective. I want to know what's going on in the world, I want to hear different sides of the argument. I follow people in entertainment that I don't necessarily agree with or act the same way, but I want to hear what our society, what culture is dishing out."
Needless to say, Candace isn't one to ever back down.
