Car show to be held in Fresno to support fatherhood

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The Fresno Regional Workforce Development Board announced they will be hosting the Fatherfest Car Show event this weekend.

Organizers say the event will take place on June 8 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Workforce Connection site on Shaw and Marks located at 3170 W. Shaw Ave. in Fresno.

This event is set to create a unique and engaging experience for the whole community.

According to the organizer, there will be free tacos and free Kona Ice for the first 200 people. There will also be live music and a fun-filled kid zone with activities for children.

In addition to entertainment, the event will shine a spotlight on the Fresno Regional Workforce Development Board’s Fatherhood program, which provides essential parenting classes and support for fathers and father figures.
