Cardi B clapped back at critics who shamed her for getting plastic surgery

Yes, Cardi B got plastic surgery after giving birth to her daughter, Kulture. If your response to this news was “Okay, so?” you’re on the right track. But critics are now shaming the rapper, calling her “lazy” for getting liposuction and a breast augmentation after she canceled several shows to take time to heal. And, as we all should have expected, Cardi wasn’t about to take the hit lying down.

This explanation—which shouldn’t have been necessary in the first place—comes after Cardi B opened up during a performance earlier this month.

ET Online reports that she told the crowd, “I should’ve canceled today because moving too much is gonna fuck up my lipo. But, bitch, I’m still gonna get this mother fucking money bag, let’s go!”

Cardi explained that her doctor warned her she should take time off so her stitches could fully heal. And she’s finally taking that advice to heart.

She formally apologized to those fans who showed up to concert venues only to learn that she wasn’t coming. But, as she said, “health is wealth.” We’d much prefer to see a healthy Cardi B in a few months than an unwell Cardi B today.
