Cardi B has hilarious, relatable mom moment during Instagram video: ‘I can’t even be sexy In peace’
Cardi B had a hilarious motherhood moment when she tried to shoot a sexy video for social media.
On Thursday, the “WAP” rapper shared a video to Instagram of herself, which starts out with her serving looks in front of the camera while wearing a corset top and green sunglasses. Then, as she plays with her hair, a tiny voice calls out “mommy” and Cardi’s 2-year-old daughter Kulture could be seen off-frame interrupting. Cardi made an awkward smile towards the camera before she stopped recording.
“I can’t even be sexy In peace,” she captioned the post.
The video has been watched millions of times and nearly 40,000 users commented on the post, praising its reliability and hilarity.
“Ohhhh the struggles that only a mother can understand ... You go mama,” one person wrote. “LMAO MOM LIFE. I felt this heavyyy,” someone said. “Her switch up from cardi to mommy mode was amazing,” a fan added.
Cardi has shared other heartwarming moments with Kulture, showing their sweet mother-daughter bond.
The artist has been open about the realities of being a working mom. During an interview with Vogue, the Grammy-winner admitted that Kulture, whom she shares with husband Offset, is her constant motivation to work harder.
“All the time I’m thinking about my kid. I’m shaking my a**, but at the same time I’m doing business, I’m on the phone with my business manager saying, ‘Make sure that a percentage of my check goes to my kid’s trust,’” she said. “I give my daughter so much love, and I’m setting her up for a future. I want to tell her that a lot of the sh** that I have done in life, no matter what I did, knowing that I wanted to have kids made me go harder to secure a good future for my kids."
