Cardi B Wears Nothing But Fishnet and Pearls in NYC
New York Fashion Week may have come to a close, but Cardi B is still hitting the streets in bizarre looks worthy of the biggest style event of the year.
The "WAP" rapper was spotted out and about in New York City in the early morning hours yesterday, Sept. 14, where she wore a shredded black haltered mini-dress that gave the appearance of torn fishnet stockings, embellished with silver and gold safety pins, ring hooks, and strands of chains and pearls.
In the photos obtained by Page Six, her ample cleavage was on full display thanks to the distressed effects of the fabric, but she covered up her bottom half with a matching black thong.
For glam, she wore her hair up in a bun reminiscent of a beehive style and paired her neutral lip gloss with a bold blue eyeshadow circa early 2000's Xtina. She also wore extra-long silver acrylic nails, which coordinated nicely with her black and silver strappy pumps.
According to the publication, the musician hit the clubs that night until at least 5:53 a.m., evidenced by a timestamped Instagram Story she shared.
The eye-catching look comes just days after her last, where she stunned viewers of the MTV Video Music Awards in a floor-length gown created entirely out of hair clips that many likened to battlefield armor.
Upcycling is clearly in this year, as Julia Fox was recently captured in a two-piece outfit made entirely of wristwatches—though none of the above was as puzzling as her metallic bikini composed entirely of medallions and chains.
