Today in Royals Are Just Like Us, Kate Middleton’s mom accidentally posted an old childhood photo of her kids to Instagram, only to delete it and then repost it. The photo in question popped up on Carole’s party-planning page, Party Pieces, in celebration of her birthday. But Hello! reports that the company posted the pic a day early, so it was deleted, only to be reshared again later with the caption, “Happiest of Birthdays to the party planner extraordinaire! We hope you have the most magical day.”

Classic mom move.

Carole has been running Party Pieces since 1987 and she’s still very much involved in the company. She actually has a “birthday edit” on the site right now, with a note reading, “It’s no surprise I’ve learned to love January; it’s the start of a new year and time to get healthy habits in place and birthday month for me so there is every good reason to celebrate with loved ones!”

Just FYI, Kate and Carole are super close—to the point where Kate and William are considering moving from their country home and relocating to Windsor in order to be closer to both the Queen and Kate’s family, who live just 40 miles away in Bucklebury, Berkshire. Apparently, the couple have been “eyeing up” Fort Belvedere, which is a “house” in Windsor Great Park. Windsor also happens to be closer to London than their current home, which makes sense for their daily commute dropping the kids off at school in the city!
