Carrie Underwood Blows Fans Away While Performing In A Red Gown Amidst Major Announcement

Carrie Stuns In Voluminous Red Ballgown On Instagram

The 39-year-old “Hate My Heart” singer has once again proven that she can blow fans away with tiny short shorts, voluminous ballgowns, and everything else in-between, thanks to the resurfaced video, which was taken from her performance at the 95th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York last year. We will happily watch this performance every year and never get bored of it!

Carrie’s Instagram post referenced her My Gift (Special Edition) album, which as the name suggests, is a special edition of My Gift, her first-ever Christmas album which was originally released in September 2020 (it was everything we needed in the crazy pandemic year!) with the special edition featuring the addition of three more tracks: “Favorite Time Of Year,” “All Is Well” and a live recording of “Let There Be Peace/Something In The Water” taken from HBO Max’s My Gift: A Christmas Special From Carrie Underwood.

The original My Gift cover sees Carrie rocking a festive red dress featuring an embellished top half and a plain voluminous skirt with a train. She went for something a little less understated – but equally festive – for her performance at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, opting for an A-line tulle dress with sleeves and fur trim, which she accessorized with matching red gloves. Her platinum blonde hair was worn in a long, slightly wavy down do, and her makeup was soft and natural.

Carrie captioned her post: “My favorite time of year is here! Let’s see those decorations! #FavoriteTimeOfYear #Christmas #MyGift.” And her fans went wild in the comments section, praising everything from her look to the album to the performance.

Carrie hasn’t just been posting throwback videos on her Instagram account, as just one day later, the “Ghost Story” singer shared a video of herself making a very big announcement which understandably sent her fans into a frenzy! In the short video, a very glamorous-looking Carrie, sporting voluminous curly hair and blue eyeshadow, revealed that once she wraps up her Denim & Rhinestones tour, she will be picking up where she left off in Las Vegas! Carrie’s highly-acclaimed Reflection Las Vegas Residency is returning, and will take place at Resorts World Theater from June to December 2023.
