Finally some good news in the world: Carrie Underwood is pregnant with her second child!

The "Cry Pretty" singer shared the exciting news on her Instagram Wednesday morning. "Oh baby do we have a bundle of info to share with you!" she wrote in the caption of her post.

In the post, which was a series of two videos and a picture, Carrie made true on her caption's promise. She reminded fans that her new album would drop in September, and that her Cry Pretty 360 tour would start in May 2019.

"But you might be wondering," she joked in the second video, "'Carrie, why is your tour starting in May?' Well..." The camera then panned out to reveal four balloons over her head that spell out B-A-B-Y.

"This has just been a dream come true," Carrie shared, and said that she and husband Mike Fisher and their 3-year-old son Isaiah were "so excited" to "add another fish to our pond."

Carrie's pregnancy announcement comes after her controversial comments in an interview with Redbook Magazine. When asked if she wanted a big family, Carrie replied:

I'm 35, so we may have missed our chance to have a big family. We always talk about adoption and about doing it when our child or children are a little older. In the meantime, we're lucky to be a part of organizations that help kids, because our focus right now in our lives is helping as many kids as possible.

Some fans took issue with the implication that being over 35 automatically means having kids is off the table.

Carrie Underwood had had a pretty intense year-from her "freak accident" in November that required over 40 facial stitches, to her dramatic comeback at the ACM Awards in April, to the announcement that she was releasing a new album in 2018. But with the exciting news that she and Mike are expanding their family, it seems like things are on the up and up for Carrie.
