Carrie Underwood Opens Up About Suffering Three Miscarriages in Two Years

Last month, Carrie Underwood revealed that she was pregnant with her second child with hockey player husband Mike Fisher, but earlier today she shared that there's more to the story. Carrie told CBS Sunday Morning that before getting pregnant, she had three miscarriages in two years, all in a row. She lost two pregnancies in 2017, and one in earlier 2018.

Carries opens up, saying that it was hard on her. She says, "in the beginning, it was like, 'OK, God, we know this...just wasn't your timing. And that is all right. We will bounce back and figure our way through it.'" But after the third miscarriage, "it was just kind of like, okay, what's the deal?"

During that time, she was understandably having difficulty staying positive, even though she tried. “I have this amazing life," she says. "Like, really, what can I complain about? I can't. I have an incredible husband, incredible friends, an incredible job, an incredible kid. Can I be mad? No. And I got mad."

And while those experiences "sucked so much," Carrie is happy to report that "things are looking better." She is pregnant again, just released her new album Cry Pretty on Friday, and has even shared a photo of her baby bump on Instagram.

Glad to hear that she got through it all okay, and kudos to Carrie for bravely sharing her story. 💕
