Carrie Underwood Showed Up to the CMA Awards in the Most Unexpected Dress
CMA Awards host Carrie Underwood stepped out on the red carpet with husband Mike Fisher.
This will be the first time in over 10 years that Carrie isn’t leading the show with Brad Paisley.
Mom and dad’s night out!
Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher have taken a break from their two adorable kids to attend the 2019 CMA Awards. Carrie looked as beautiful as ever in a sheer dress with gold details, while Mike wore a navy-and-blue suit. Carrie even posed with her co-hosts, Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton and this trio looks amazing!
A lot has changed for Carrie since last year’s CMA Awards. She’s wrapped up her hugely popular Cry Pretty 360 tour, announced she’s writing a book, and released a new Sunday Night Football song. Oh, and she also welcomed her and Mike’s second child, baby Jacob.
The awards themselves will be different for Carrie, too, as she will not be hosting the show with Brad Paisley for the first time in over a decade. Instead, Dolly and Reba will be her co-hosts, both of whom make pretty good replacements if you ask us.
Carrie is also up for the coveted Entertainer of the Year award. The “Southbound” singer well deserves the honor—just ask Miranda Lambert. She’s nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year, and Album of the Year, as well.
Win or lose, congrats to Carrie for all of her exciting life updates!
