Carrie Underwood's Performance of Classic Hit Is Made Better By Her Bold Fringe Romper
Carrie Underwood rocked the Citi Concert Series stage on the Today show this morning, where she wore a bold fringe romper as she thrilled fans with one of her most beloved throwback tracks mixed into the setlist made up of mostly newer songs.
In addition to "Out of That Truck," "She Don't Know," "Church Bells," and "Take Me Out," of course she had to drop in the ultimate classic: "Before He Cheats."
She wore a lime green beaded fringe 'fit with long sleeves, accessorized with a series of rings, a bejeweled rhinestone belt, chandelier earrings, and a gold neck scarf with a silver fringe of its own.
She left her blonde hair down in a gentle wave with bold black mascara and a neutral lip, completing the look with a pair of spiky gold shoes.
The series' official Instagram account posted a snippet of the performance on Instagram this morning, Sept. 14, calling it "the throwback bop we all needed this morning."
They emphasized the track's popularity in additional text over the clip, reading, "Nobody: , Me, a 5th-grader in 2005: ??? carved my name into his leather seats."
Fans were thrilled by the classic track, with one vehemently agreeing with the show's assessment of its popularity by commenting, "Video caption!!!"
But most zeroed in on the singer's ripped legs, as they tend to do. "Those legs tho ??," one wrote, while another pointed out, "Legs for days ????."
"Carrie is amazing! And at 40 - Look at those legs ????," said another. As fans have previously declared, her quads—which are the best in the business—just keep on improving!
