Carrie Underwood's Trainer Shares Secret to Singer's 'Completely Sculpted' Body
Carrie Underwood's legs have been dubbed the "best in the business" by fans, and now we know exactly how she's achieved her muscular physique.
Underwood's trainer of 13 years, Eve Overland, shared a few of her workout secrets while speaking with E! News, spilling the rundown on their 90-minute sessions.
The workouts often utilize basic compound lifts–like squats, rows, presses and deadlifts–as Overland claimed, "They give you the most bang for your buck, no matter what age you are."
Overland said that Underwood jogs and does heavy lifting to prepare for daily life as a busy mom and performing on stage. Explicitly turning to those who would love to have toned legs like Underwood, the trainer said, "To have legs like Carrie, be consistent and if you don't love lifting then we got to take it back."
But she also suggested Underwood's tenacity was why the 40-year-old country singer is "so completely sculpted and conditioned," calling her "the most dedicated, consistent human being."
"She puts in 100 percent of her entire being into everything she does, in or out of the gym. She's very focused, motivated and she's always in a good mood," Overland went on.
As for other tips her trainer had to achieve a figure like the "Two Black Cadillacs" singer, Overland said it's important to start small and be realistic.
"What can you do sustainably? Set attainable goals," she asserted. "Anything is better than nothing...Whatever your body has to offer and whatever time you have, just get it in and your body will thank you."
