Carlos Salazar, the Executive Director of Casa Hispana said the festival is a great time for people to come together.
“It’s a time for people in the Fox Valley to know that los latinos y hispanos están aquí. We are here also.” Salazar said. “We’re so joyful to be here and tell people who we are.”
There was also a variety of food vendors available, as well as a parade, adding to the festivities at Pierce Park.
