With its quippy dialogue and candy-colored aesthetic Amazon Prime's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is something of a critical darling. Over the past two seasons Amy Sherman-Palladino's period piece about a housewife who becomes a stand-up comic has garnered numerous awards, and this evening at the Golden Globes, its third chapter is up for two more: Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy, and an individual acting nod for star Rachel Brosnahan.
