  • Catherine Zeta Jones, 52, posed in ski gear for a snowy action shot on Instagram with her husband, Michal Douglas.

  • “Who else is watching the Winter Olympics?? I think I could go for the gold in skiing ??,” she jokingly captioned the post.

  • The actress loves to stay active, whether it’s on the slopes, in the water, or on her yoga mat.

Inspired by the ongoing winter Olympics in Beijing, Catherine Zeta-Jones is getting serious about skiing. And honestly, the actress looks like a natural on the slopes.

On February 10, she shared a snowy action shot alongside her husband of 21 years, Michael Douglas. Bundled up in their cold-weather gear (and Zeta-Jones in a bejeweled, crown-printed beanie, no less), the pair posed in front of frosted pine trees, their skis’ tracks trailing behind them.

“Who else is watching the Winter Olympics?? I think I could go for the gold in skiing ??,” she captioned the post. Her followers agreed. “Wow. Look like pro-norwegian-skiiers ???????? ,” one person commented. “You two are too cute together! Go for the gold!” another added. “Double gold????,” another wrote.

The Oceans Twelve star loves to stay active in a variety of ways, and often shares tidbits of her yoga practice with fans via Instagram. On February 1, she shared a clip from her mat, in which her lower back was balanced on a block, her feet slightly elevated. She held that pose for a while before bringing her knees in and then pointing her toes up, and then repeating the sequence.

“Question… does anyone else listen to burlesque music on the yoga mat?” she captioned the post. “‘Om…….’”

In July, she told People that she’s not super picky about how she moves her body—it’s just important to her that she stays mobile. “My father-in-law worked out every day until the day he couldn’t anymore. So for me, I think you don’t have to be an Olympian, you just have got to keep moving,” she said. (Sounds like she’s changed her mind since then! ??)

She continued: “If you’re vacuuming, do it with a purpose. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. I’m always up and down, pruning the garden, watering the plants.” She said she also loves to swim, dance, and of course, do yoga.

"I’m doing a little bit more yoga than I usually do because it’s a fantastic mind/body workout,” she added. “I just want to maintain my flexibility as much as I can, so I am really working on stretching and cardio.”

So far, she seems to be doing a pretty good job. And it helps that her self-confidence has only grown with age.

“There’s a confidence I’ve sometimes had to put on when I walk down a red carpet. I have my insecurities like every other woman,” she told The Sydney Morning Herald in July. “But as I’ve got older, I’ve got much more confident about the way I look.”

Whether she’s hitting the slopes with her husband or posting a glam throwback pic to Instagram, the star sure knows how to keep us riveted. We can’t wait to see what she posts next!
