Cat's Dramatic Performance During a Nail Trim Seriously Deserves an Oscar

There are an endless number of reasons to love your pet, even if they're the type to bring the drama more often than not. Even the sweetest cats and dogs can act out when things aren't going their way, though there's something about trimming a pet's nails that always brings out their wild side.

Believe me: I would know! My 70-pound Husky/Malamute mix is as goofy and friendly as can be, but he was banned from a local PetCo location after they attempted to cut his nails. Let's just say, nonstop yelling from a big dog can cause a lot of chaos! Even so, I'm grateful he's not as feisty as this orange tabby cat.

The hilarious scene of the kitty's dramatics was sent to us by a viewer, and it's honestly relatable AF. I pet most cat owners have experienced something like this!

LMAO! This feisty feline has a lot to say about this pedicure (or should I say 'paw'dicure?), and none of it is positive. Luckily, their owner seems calm, collected, and completely prepared for the orange cat's dramatic reaction. They were ready to film, too--so this must not have been the first time this happened!

"They're pissed because you're cutting off their murder mittens," commented viewer @jrod668234 "I'd be pissed too!" LOL! A kitty who frequently uses their claws might struggle with having shorter nails, but this is most likely an indoor cat who needs some extra help keeping their nails trimmed. Cats who use scratching posts or who climb, may naturally keep their claws on the shorter side.

As many cat owners know, though, cutting a cat's nails at home can be quite a struggle. Just look at this video! The tabby cat nearly bit their owner in protest, but they had a secure hold on the animal in order to keep them both safe. Hopefully they were able to get those claws trimmed!
