Cats' Excitement Over a Chair Being Moved to a New Spot Is Everything
We know what we're trying with our cats today!
A cat owner discovered amusing her cats could easily be accomplished simply by a new furniture arrangement. Cats are such curious animals, and any cat owner can tell you that sometimes amusing your cat can be as simple as placing an empty cardboard box on the floor. Or moving a dining chair to a new location in the house.
Just check out the cats owned by TikTok user @_Mother.of.Frogs _ who were completely enthralled by some new interior design.

We love the description that reads, "They've been taking turns sitting on this chair for the last 30 minutes. Just having the time of their lives."
That's just so typical cat! @Kale experienced this phenomenon and comments, "Had a chair in the bathroom for a haircut and they went NUTS." @Bep hilariously replies, "I put out random bowls of water in addition to their usual spots and they love it. I call it "novelty water" LOL! @Alicia tested this theory and said, "Thank you I just moved my desk chair to the middle of the room because of this and he seems to be having a great time." @paige responds, "Oh my gosh yes! I’m a house cleaner and cats (and toddlers) LOVE it when we move the dining chairs to another room so we can mop. LOVE IT."
Any sort of novelty, like amusing your cats with a new furniture arrangement or introducing new toys, scents, and environments can prevent boredom and encourage cats to exercise their natural instincts. At the very least, it's just a whole lot of fun watching them get excited over sitting on a chair!
