Central Valley Brewfest set to return to Turlock

(FOX40.COM) — The Central Valley Brewfest is returning for its 11th year in May.

The annual event is taking place on May 11 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Stanislaus County Fairgrounds in Turlock.

Breweries expected to be featured at the event include Dust Bowl Brewing Company, Blaker Brewing, Contentment Brewing, 18Seventy Brew, Last Call Brewing and Dying Breed Brewing.

Along with sampling craft beer and wine, the event will feature live music and an appearance from San Francisco 49ers legend and four-time Super Bowl winner Eric Wright.

Foodieland returning to Cal Expo twice in 2024

Organizers said the former 49ers cornerback will be at the event autographing cans of Golden Punch, a collaboration between Wright and California Seltzer Company.

Monterey Bay-based band the BASSment will perform at the outdoor stage while DJ Izze will provide music for the indoor dance floor.

Tickets for the event start at $45, which includes unlimited sampling from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., a festival glass and access to all festival activities, games, dance floor and the live band.

VIP admission tickets cost $65 and will include entry to the festival an early hour along with unique beer and wine samples only available to VIP guests.

In an effort to encourage responsible drinking, organizers said there’s designated driver tickets available for $25 that includes a complimentary water bottle. Designated driver ticket holders are not permitted to sample alcohol, but get access to non-alcoholic activities.
