Champaign hosting Halloween costume drive to help families in need

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — The Champaign Park District is getting into the Halloween spirit by holding a costume drive from now until Oct. 2.

Flyover Studios, Parkland College partner up to expand film industry in Central Illinois

Whether you want to donate an old costume you still have in the closet, or want to hunt for a new one, the Halloween Costume Drive & Giveaway may have something for everyone. During the drive, the Champaign Park District will accept costumes of all sizes and for all ages.

Donation boxes are available at every Champaign Park District facility.

Gameday Spirit saw record-breaking sales this weekend

The costume drive giveaway will be Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. until noon, or until supplies last at the Douglas Community Center. The Champaign Park District also said that donations are not required to pick up a costume.
