Check Out the 'Star Wars: The Bad Batch' Final Season Trailer

It's been nearly four months since the first season of Ahsoka came to a close and Star Wars fans are eager for more in-universe action. Now, after revealing at Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023 that a third and final season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch is on the way, an official trailer and release date have been shared.

Building off of the dramatic ending to its second season, the final season of The Bad Batch focuses on what remains of Clone Force 99 as the ones rescue Omega from the Empire. The two-minute trailer cuts right to the action as the fan-favorite squad is seen reconnecting with familiar allies such as Phee Genoa and Captain Rex. Adding to the excitement, brief appearances from Emperor Palpatine, Fennec Shand and Cad Bane are all included with one special reveal to top it all off -- the return of Asajj Ventress. Equipped with a yellow lightsaber (and hair), Ventress is sure to shake things up, though Lucasfilm was quick to clarify that her storyline will remain in alignment with the events taking place in the novel (Star Wars: Dark Disciple) centered around her and Quinlan Vos.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch officially returns on February 21 with the first three episodes -- titled "Confined," "Paths Unknown," and "Shadows of Tantiss" respectively -- made available that day exclusively on Disney+. 12 additional episodes are scheduled throughout the following weeks, with the series finale taking place on May 1 titled "The Cavalry Has Arrived."
